Presented by Cesario Ramos & Wim van Broekhoven
Abstract:
This is an experience report of the Lean/Agile adoption success story at PANalytical, presented by Cesario Ramos (independent consultant) and Wim van Broekhoven (IT development manager at PANalytical).
Lots of Agile adoption initiatives are done either top down or bottom up. Both approaches are doomed to fail as they are not systemic. As a result you’ll end up with either some agility at the IT level without any real results for the business or some agility at business level but without IT being able to deliver.
An approach that has proven to work at various companies and also at PANalytical is to work both sides simultaneously doing Agile bottom up and Lean top down. We call this approach the Lean Agile Sandwich.
This sound plausible but how do you do it?
In this talk we will share the real life challenges, solutions and results obtained from various adoption journeys and especially the one at PANalytical.
You will get insight into the thinking of the consultant but also first hand insight into the thinking and points of view of the consulted, the manager IT in this case.
